RAYMOND A. BAWAL, JR. AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY

Raymond A. Bawal, Jr. was born in 1968 in Nuremburg, West Germany and spent his early childhood living in Europe.  It was while growing up overseas that Mr. Bawal gained an early interest in Military History.   In 1978, following his Father leaving the United States Army, Mr. Bawal and his family settled in St. Clair County, Michigan.  Because of his experiences abroad as a young boy he remained fascinated by naval history and decided to take his love to the next level in 2008 and write his first book.

Mr. Bawal, Jr. completed his first book in 2008, Ships of the St. Clair River.  In 2009 he followed this with his second book, Twilight of the Great Lakes Steamer.   Titans of the Rising Sun is his first work concerning Japanese Battleships.

Mr. Bawal, Jr. currently lives with his fiancée in Macomb County Michigan.
